The Shoes and Us

The Three Horseshoes Pub and Kitchen is a beautiful three hundred year old thatched stone property on the Jurassic Coast in the idyllic village of Burton Bradstock. We are in walking distance of the coastal path and the stunning 'Hive' beach, offering wonderful views and invigorating walks. We have the log fires burning in the winter and a lovely suntrap beer garden for the summer. Dog friendly, children welcome, muddy boots allowed. Our aim is to be a pub where we would be happy to spend our free time. Ample parking is available.

Jaap was then offered the Executive Head Chef position at the Portsmouth Marriott, where his Sea Level concept gained the hotel its first AA rosette.

Jaap’s passion lies in all things food. Taking high quality produce and creating interesting, tasty, consistently excellent meals.

Jaap has spent the last few months working with Rick Stein on the opening of his Rick Stein Winchester restaurant, re-igniting his enthusiasm for fantastic produce, cooked simply.
